The first  cathedral of St. Petersburg, the Prince-Vladimir cathedral (1789) is within 3 minutes of walking distance. (Blokhina Street 26). The working  cathedral bewitches everyone with its simplicity and cosiness. Everyone that visits gets a harmonious warm feeling from this orthodox relic. You can get to the cathedral's location through the park. There is also a chapel nearby.


The chapel of Prince-Vladimir Cathedral     Distance from hostel - 60 meters



It is located on the corner of Big Prospect and Vladimir Park (1 minute on foot), was constructed in honor to the Russian emperor Alexander II. In 2006 the chapel had it's renovation. Within the chapel there is an outlet shop, in which you may find information on field trips about pilgrim grounds.

It is open every day from 12:00 till 19:00.



Club-museum "Boiler room - Kamchatka"


The museum is situated in the basement of the house number 15 on Blokhina Street (the entrance is in the yard).

In the evenings there are concerts of various groups.
Concerts begin at 19:00 - 20:00 and END no later than 22:20.

The club is open from 12:00 until the last customer.
There is a supermarket "Dixie " in the same house.
It takes only 7 minutes walk from the hostel to get there.

Blagoveshensky Bridge

In the distance there is the Blagoveshensky Bridge (before also Nicholas Bridge and Lieutenant Schmidt Bridge) - it is the first permanent bridge across the Bolshaya Neva River in Saint Petersburg.
